San Francisco SPCA Thursday Night Yappy Hour - In February, the SF SPCA staged Yappy Hour, a pop-up adoption center at 2 Embarcadero Center on Thursday evenings, “bringing cuddles, kisses, and cuteness” plus free adult beverages and nibbles to those stopping by to meet adoptable animals. Word is it’s coming back.

Fort Funston - Wind, sandy cliffs, and lots of trails provide the allure for this iconic and expansive ocean-side outpost and retreat where happy dogs can roam free without any traffic worries while their people revel in their romping. The beach is basically pup paradise.
