Our Small Dog Socials are designed for fully vaccinated, small-breed dogs under 15 lbs .

Under the supervision of our experienced trainer, your small-breed dogs learn how to interact with other dogs politely while humans learn about dog behaviors. Our trainer will encourage owners to “work” with their dogs during social and answer questions about raising your small dog.

• Instructor: Joe Hague, 2002 graduate of American Institute of Animal Sciences

• Venue: Jeffrey’s North Beach (1841 Powell Street, San Francisco)

• Duration: 50 minutes

• Fee: $40 per dog

REQUIREMENTS

• 16 weeks old & above

• Current weight is under 15 lbs

• Dog must have been in your home for AT LEAST 10 days prior to the first social.

• Your puppy must be FULLY vaccinated AT LEAST 7 days prior to the first meeting.

• Bordetella (Kennel cough) and Canine Influenza Virus H3N2/H3N8 vaccines recommended, but not required. Please consult your veterinarian.

• Your dog must not attend class wearing a slip, shock, choke or prong collar. Flat collars or harnesses ONLY.

Please note that the enrollment process can take at least 1 business day as we need to verify your vaccination record with your vet so please do NOT sign up for a same-day event unless your puppy already has all the paperwork on file with Jeffrey’s. If your puppy’s records are not already on file and you decide to sign up for a same-day event, we are not able to provide any refund if the records cannot be verified before the event takes place. Please plan accordingly.
